NFL Football Week 12: Thanksgiving Weekend NFL Match Ups

November 25, 2007

With three of the best and more entertaining teams already having played (Green Bay Packers, Dallas Cowboys, Indianapolis Colts), one would think that the rest of the holiday weekend will be boring and not even worth watching, but you will missing out on a lot of evenly matched games with playoff implications.

Sunday’s Must See Match Ups:

Tennessee Titans at Cincinnati Bengals
Even though you may think Tennessee would run away with this one, they hit a speed bump against the Denver Broncos last Monday night and the Bengals will look to capitalize on their mistakes

Houston Texans at Cleveland Browns
Both of these teams are proving that they can hang with the elite in the NFL and both are pretty evenly matched so I expected a good one here, but Cleveland offense might be a little too much for the Texans D to handle

Oakland Raiders at Kansas City Chiefs
The Chiefs should win this game, but this is a very heated rivalry and the Raiders just might decide to put rookie quarterback JaMarcus Russell in to see what he can do

Washington Redskins at Tampa Bay Bucs
The Bucs are quietly winning games with a 6-4 record, but the Redskins have faced better opponents and are living up to the test, so this will be a close one, but Washington should take it

New Orleans Saints at Carolina Panthers
Both these teams have had disappointing seasons and are very hot and cold from week to week, but if they even want the slightest chance of getting the Wildcard they have to win every game from here on out

Buffalo Bills at Jacksonville Jaguars
The Bills will look to get back on track after getting spanked by New England, but Jacksonville will put up a fight as they are flying under the radar at 7-3 looking to bump off the Colts in their division, so every win is crucial for them

Baltimore Ravens at San Diego Chargers
Very disappointing seasons for two teams that were thought to be AFC heavyweights coming into this season, both of these teams are extremely desperate for wins and looking to get back to elite status (if that is possible)

Philadelphia Eagles at New England Patriots
It is pretty obvious by now that no one is going to beat the Patriots, but you have to admit that it is awesome to see them work, touchdown after touchdown. This game will be a massacre considering that Donovan McNabb might be out
