NFL Football: Brett Favre is Better Then Ever!
January 13, 2008
It’s official, the Green Bay Packers are going back to the NFC championship game and Brett Favre is playing the best football we have seen him play, maybe ever!
This playoff game between the Green Bay Packers and the Seattle Seahawks will be remembered for a long time. Not because of a close score or even a really competitive game, but mainly for Brett Favre’s amazing play where he somehow was able to stay on his feet while going down and completing a pass to set up the go ahead score and basically take over the game. After the Packers scored on the next play, it completely open the flood gates in the snow bowl as the Packers just dominated the helpless Seahawks winning 42-20.
At 38 years old, Brett Favre has done some unbelievable things this season from winning 13 games to breaking record after record, keeping the streak alive and quite possibly leading his cheeseheads to another Super Bowl. Brett Favre is one of the best quarterbacks the NFL and he is not going out without a fight!
As for the other game on Saturday, the Patriots were able to stay perfect yet again beating the Jacksonville Jaguars convincingly 31-20 proving that all the talk of an upset was all hype as they set there sights on going 19-0 and wearing another Super Bowl ring. Tom Brady put on another amazing performance completing 26 of 28 passes and throwing for 262 yards and three touchdowns.
