How to Choose a Great Sports Handicapper
November 25, 2007
Finding a good handicapper can be like trying to find a needle in a haystack. They’re far and few between, and are often difficult to find. It might even seem like every handicapper you consider turns out to be a scam the moment you decide to trust them. Fortunately, great handicappers are out there, and they’re worth every ounce of effort to find them.
Finding a great sports handicapping service takes close scrutiny. Be aware of small red flags that seem just a little off in your mind. The first place to examine is their track record of sports picks.
When you’re looking at tract records, look for good but believable records. Impossible to achieve statistics should be avoided. If a handicapper claims to hit 80% of their picks, run like the wind.
Look for a handicapper that has a long-standing record of their picks. A few days of winning picks aren’t enough to establish that they make statistically strong picks.
Another thing to look out for is their general business practice. Do they unscrupulously spam and hard sell customers to purchase their service? Or does their reputation precede their name? Do some research into the practices of the handicapper you’re considering.
Look for reviews of the sports picking service you’re considering. Check user forums, web pages, as well as the Better Business Bureau.
All in all, finding a great sports pick services can seem like a headache – But believe me, once you’ve found a service that’s as good as they say they are, the effort is well worth it.
