NFL Week 13: Results on the Gridiron
December 3, 2007
Indianapolis held off the Jags, Adrian Peterson runs over Detroit, Buffalo pulls out a tight one and Oakland isn’t finished just yet! It was an interesting football Sunday on the gridiron as a few teams surprised some people and others let their fans down.
Results of Sunday’s Key Match Ups:
Jacksonville Jaguars at Indianapolis Colts 25-28
-Peyton Manning and company held off a tough Jacksonville team to keep on top of the AFC South once again without Marvin Harrison
NFL Football Week 13: Key Match Ups
December 2, 2007
Week 14 got off to a good start on Thursday with two of the NFC’s best going head to head in Dallas with Romo and company taking down Favre’s Packers, but are there any other must see games this weekend worth watching? Well, the answer is yes and it starts off with a great AFC divisional match up between 9-2 Indianapolis Colts and the Jacksonville Jaguars who are sitting quietly at 8-3, just waiting for the chance to take the lead in the running for the AFC South division title over the Colts who have dominated the division for years. So keep your eye on this one because who ever comes out on top, just might be the second best team in the AFC and possibly the NFL behind the New England Patriots.
NFL Football Week 11: Sunday Matchups
November 18, 2007
Week 11 has arrived and a few questions remain, but some of the most important ones have been answered. Officially, the New England Patriots are the best team in the NFL this season and quite possibly all-time. After they pulled out a win on Indianapolis home turf, it seemed as if the Patriots barely got by, but after seeing the Peyton Manning and the Colts completely implode against the San Diego Chargers last week I think it is pretty safe to say that the Patriots are the top dogs.
The real question now is, “Who is the next best team in the NFL?” The answer is The Dallas Cowboys, lead by superstars Tony Romo and wide receiver Terrell Owens. After beating up division rival New York Giants on Sunday 31-20, it seems safe to say that the Cowboys own their division and the NFC, Romo was as efficient as ever with 247 yards passing, 4 touchdowns and 1 interception. Terrell Owens had a breakout game as well being Romo favorite target with 6 catches, 125 yards and 2 touchdowns.
Although
The Dallas Cowboys and Green Bay Packers will have a showdown to see who is the top dog in the NFC on a Thursday night in week 13; it should be a good one and possibly a preview of the NFC championship.
Sunday’s Must See Match Ups:
The Browns have to be the surprise of the season at 5-4 ahead of the Ravens and the Bengals in the AFC North, there is no way they are going to win the division with Pittsburgh playing the way they are, but they will make a good run at the wildcard, so look for them to take down their division foe on Sunday
The Chargers are coming off a huge win over the Colts, but people are calling it a fluke because their offense was non existent, so look for them to make an example of a good Jaguars squad, but Jones-Drew and company have a good shot of taking them down
The Giants are recuperating from a disappointing loss to the Cowboys and the Lions having been upsetting good teams all season with a high powered offense, so this should turn out to be a good one with a good defense taking on a good offense
The Texans are finally back to full strength with quarterback Matt Schaub and wide receiver Andre Johnson coming back, the Saints licking their wounds from a beating by a winless Rams squad, look for both teams to try and prove they are still in the hunt for the playoffs
The Bengals have been really struggling this season with an offense that should be unstoppable, but isn’t and the Cardinals are showing signs of life after beating the Lions convincingly, both teams will be looking to destroy the other on Sunday

NFL Football Week 7: The Votes Are In!
October 20, 2007
It is official, the New England Patriots are the best team, the Packers are the biggest surprise at 5-1 and the NFL in general is as unpredictable as a night on the town with Britney Spears crazy ass. This season has been quite interesting to say the least so far, with upsets on the regular, careers resurrected (Randy Moss, Brett Favre) and spy games by Bill Belichick.
So what’s next? Who is the next superstar? What teams have a fighting chance?
Who’s got next? Minnesota Vikings’ Adrian Peterson, that’s who! This guy has been awesome this season, he has proved he can play with the big boys, especially after his last game against division rival Chicago Bears, there is no doubt that this kid is the next great running back in the NFL. Peterson absolutely embarrassed Brian Urlacher and his defensive squad, rushing for 224 yards (which is amazing for a rookie) and three touchdowns to lead his Vikings to victory 34-31. Keep your eye on number #28 as he is just getting started!
NFL Football Week 4 - Sunday Wrap Up…How Did Your Favorite Team Do?
October 1, 2007
Just like Saturday in college football, week 4 in the NFL was filled with upsets and completely unpredictable outcomes. The usual NFL powerhouses like the Indianapolis Colts and the Dallas Cowboys got their victories in convincing fashion, but the same could not be said for the rest of the big boys.
Baltimore, Chicago, San Diego and Pittsburgh all went down in flames this Sunday putting on terrible performances against less than worthy opponents.
The Ravens were just embarrassed by an up and coming Cleveland Browns team lead by quarterback Derek Anderson and go to wide receiver Braylon Edwards, the two connected for 97 yards and a touchdown and beat the Ravens 27-13.
NFL Football Week 4 - Is The Season Heating Up?
September 30, 2007
Its week 4 and it is time for football once again! This week does not have the most compelling match ups, but I guarantee there will be some fireworks with only these 5 teams left unbeaten: Green Bay Packers, New England Patriots, Indianapolis Colts, Pittsburgh Steelers and the Dallas Cowboys.
Out of the 5 unbeatens, Green Bay taking on the Minnesota Vikings will be probably the most entertaining game to watch besides the Monday night shootout with Tom Brady and Carson Palmer going head to head.
In Minnesota Brett Favre will be looking at making history as being all-time leader in touchdown passes breaking Dan Marino’s record which he tied last week against San Diego with a 3 touchdown performance. Favre just needs one more touchdown to make it 421 touchdown tosses in his career and go down in history books forever as the all-time leader, a record that probably won’t be broken for quite a long time, unless Peyton Manning plays as long as Favre has.
