NFL Football Playoffs: Two Big NFL Playoffs Upsets
January 14, 2008
Coming into Sunday’s two NFL playoff match ups with Indianapolis Colts against the San Diego Chargers and the Dallas Cowboys taking on the New York Giants, both the Colts and Cowboys were favored by at least a touchdown to win, but that was not even close to what happen in Indianapolis and Dallas when all was said and done.
NFL Football Playoffs: Can Dallas Overcome Terrell Owens’ Injury?
January 11, 2008
With the Pittsburgh Steelers, Washington Redskins, Tennessee Titans and the Tampa Bucs out of the playoff picture, there are only eight teams left in the fight to lift the Lombardi Trophy and be crowned Super Bowl champion in 2008.
NFL Football Week 15: TO’s (Terrell Owens) Mouth Strikes AGAIN!
December 13, 2007
Former NFL wide receiver turned ESPN analyst Keyshawn Johnson expressed his feeling toward the Dallas Cowboys recent success and best start in franchise history, mainly stating that former
Needless to say, Cowboys’ superstar wide receiver Terrell Owens didn’t like that too much; in fact he was so fired up about the comment by Johnson that he issued a challenge. No, not a challenge like Chad Johnson would make, like racing a horse, but challenging the USC alum to see if he could take the superstar’s spot on the Cowboys. TO was quoted as saying that Johnson wouldn’t be able to 3rd or 4th option at wide receiver for
NFL Football Week 14: Patriots Still Perfect at 13-0…Vote Brady Best QB
December 10, 2007
Coming into their game against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday, the Patriots were facing probably their last real challenge of the season in their campaign for an undefeated season going up against Pittsburgh’s defense which is ranked number 1 in the league; at least before the Patriots put 34 points on them.
Tom Brady came out firing in this game, passing for two quick touchdowns to Randy Moss in the first half and finishing the game with a total of four touchdown tosses which breaks Dan Marino’s record of games with three or more touchdowns in a season with 11 games. Needless to say the Steelers’ defense didn’t really live up to the number one ranking as the Patriots rolled over them 34-13.
NFL Football Week 14: NFL Playoffs Are Right Around The Corner
December 9, 2007
With the playoffs right around the corner, every game will mean everything for teams that are struggling to grab a playoff spot and others that are holding on for dear life. Unfortunately for us football fans, week 14 is going to be kind of a drag as there are only about 6 match ups worth watching this Sunday.
Key Match Ups:
Dallas Cowboys at Detroit Lions:
-After last week’s performance against the Minnesota Vikings, the Lions spirits have been crushed, but I wouldn’t be surprised to see an upset against an unsuspecting Dallas team
NFL Football Week 13: Key Match Ups
December 2, 2007
Week 14 got off to a good start on Thursday with two of the NFC’s best going head to head in Dallas with Romo and company taking down Favre’s Packers, but are there any other must see games this weekend worth watching? Well, the answer is yes and it starts off with a great AFC divisional match up between 9-2 Indianapolis Colts and the Jacksonville Jaguars who are sitting quietly at 8-3, just waiting for the chance to take the lead in the running for the AFC South division title over the Colts who have dominated the division for years. So keep your eye on this one because who ever comes out on top, just might be the second best team in the AFC and possibly the NFL behind the New England Patriots.
NFL Football Week 13: Man Down! Favre Goes Down and Green Bay Falls to 10-2
November 30, 2007
It’s official, the battle of the NFC’s best is over, the Dallas Cowboys came out on top and Green Bay Packers got more than a loss as their hall of fame quarterback Brett Favre went down with an injury to his elbow forcing him to watch the Packer’s first loss of the season from the sidelines.
The Dallas Cowboys vs the Green Bay Packers did not get nearly as much hype as the battle for AFC supremacy in the New Patriots vs Indianapolis Colts midseason match up, but it turned out to be a good one, maybe even better, even though Brett Favre went down in the first half. Backup quarterback Aaron Rodgers proved to be a formidable replacement for Brett Favre as he finally got some time on the field Thursday for Green Bay. Rodgers really showed what he can do out there and didn’t disappoint throwing for 201 yards and a touchdown.
